I sold a 2012 KTM 990 SMT from a Youtube video 10 years ago. Somebody saw it from a search and came out and bought it some day. It's free so no issues listing it and it can be linked to other sites for those that want to see video. In any event, agree it's a long shot method but it has its' purpose in the selling process.

Good luck on the sale. The issue is posting on a platform that will get the widest viewership, but at the end of the day the interest has to be there just when one is selling. There is always a chance that someone somewhere is the perfect buyer, but the odds increases in connecting that person to your unique bike, the more people see it as that helps with the timing issue. Selling it via YouTube was likely pure luck and lightning struck in your favour. Yes eBay charges fees (as does Cycle Trader) but they also have a large viewership but at the end of the day people have to be interested in buying the same time you are interested in selling. Dems the brakes.
