From the included pictures in the instructions it appears the bars they depict are the tubular bars ona R and not the "clip on" style that are standard on the 1250 RS. I installed risers on my 2020 RS...

Enjoy! Definitely different than a GS but I believe you're going to like the different handling. Get your riding in before the hot weather arrives.

I concur. Heck, at first it took some searching to find engine protection (crash) bars for my 1250 RS. I'd be interested if someone finds/comes up with some.

While I understand wanting a cheap alternative, the correct maintenance would be to replace the worn bushings and install new seals. IMHO that's what you really need to do.

If you can source an "Old School" glass shop/glazier they can probably best advise you after seeing the damage. Good luck!

Who wouldn't like an RR, though I'm quite stuck on the RS. One thing for sure is my cousin and I (about 6 months apart in age) are working out some details for a long MC vacation for next year.

I have not experienced that at all unless the road conditions are broken pavement and pot holes. But the RS isn't designed to be an "adventure bike" so I avoid roads like that in any event.

I'm pleased with the fork/fender mounts. The location makes them very visible to oncoming drivers but it all comes down to your personal preference.
