Been thinking of getting the tune for my’16 rs  for next season. Anyone recommend or have any experience with it ? Pros or cons ?

Welcome to the forum community. Where in upstate NY are you? As a fellow upstater we know that upstate NY is a very large area.
Are you experiencing poor running issues? Replacement of the stock silencer with aftermarket doesn't always require a new tune. You might want to get an expert opinion about whether you need one.

I’m in Schenectady. I like to tune my bikes- trying to leave this one alone. Runs great, curious if it’s worth tuning.
