fr8dogjoe, I got the license plate surround from Revzilla. I just took a look on their site so I could give you a link, but I don't see that one on there now. But there are a lot available out there.

Here's one. https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/sign...vSEALw_wcB
If you Google " motorcycle license plate frame with led lights " you will see a lot of choices.

Did you use a canbus or was it spiced into the wires?

I ran mine off the stop light circuit on my Dennali EZ-can. That way I didn't have to splice into any wires on the stock harness.

I could put the stands on now and swap when we trade.
I agree ... falling over won't likely wait till 2022 ...

Thanks for clarifying. Looks great and similar to the Evotech but likely a heck of a lot cheaper.

Chris - were your side stand photos both taken after you had updated the front and rear suspension to the new Tractive components? I know getting off the bike with the bike running and pulling to the left with side stand down extends the suspension and then locks in place when bike is shut off.

Looks like the code has expired - would not work for me when I went to order the stand today :-( .
Will wait a day or so and see if it works then.

Darrell, yes the photos are taken with the Tractive Suspension. I shot the first photo, put bike on center stand, changed the side stand, dropped it down and shot the second photo. Ignition was not turned on for the whole process, so suspension height should be the same for both.

I'm pretty much hard wired to this movement whenever dismounting. I'm pretty sure the engineers counted on max height when they calculated the length of the kickstand...., though I'm a little surprised they didn't think of ex-racers and demanding riders like Chris, who would take advantage of the adjustability and (appropriately) lower the front end.
Nice photos.

The side stand on my 2020 feels better (leans over more) than on my 2016. I don't have side by side pictures, but it sure feels that way. Everytime I got off my 2016, the routine was lower the side stand, dismount, grab the handlebars and tail rack and pull the bike to me to extend the suspension.
My 2019 XR has a short side stand and it leans over a lot. The people on that forum write threads with opposite comments: it leans too much! I am buying a side stand extension!
Maybe we have too much free time.

Maybe, but my S bike also has a lot of lean on the sidestand. I'm not complaining.

I tried again -- same result of no discount.
https://www.maxbmw.com/ is the right place for the discount - correct?
I will say your checkout screen looks different that what I am seeing.
Will call them in the morning and see if I can get the discount on a phone order

Once you add it to the shopping cart and fill in the shipping information and the coupon code, the discount is not shown. You have to click “Continue” to get to the screen I shared in my screenshot. That is where the discount shows up.

Today Bruce showed up at my place on a 37 degree morning bundled up like Santa on a cold winters night. After his 8 mile pedal ride on his bicycle he was ready to peel his coat off and enjoy my 60 degree garage.
Bruce offered to give a hand checking the sag numbers on the front and rear of my bike with the new Tractive suspension installed. I still need to work through those numbers and what they all indicate is best settings to ride. One thing we both agreed on you don’t need to spend your money on a side stand from a foreign country if you install the Tractive suspension system.
The first two photos are with the bike preload set at 1 helmet. The 3rd photo is the bike preload set at 2 helmets. The preload was set, bike leaned over on the left side without pulling up on right bar as I usually did to set the angle steeper and ignition turned off. We also started the bike with me standing beside the bike changing the preload settings and the results were the same.[attachment=977][attachment=976][attachment=978]
